In addition to the ridiculous fees, this is a pretty terrible hotel. Resort fees, fees for checking in less than an hour before their 3:30 check-in time, fees if you check out late, parking fees even though you are a guest, etc. They have so many hidden charges that I think it nearly doubled the sticker price of our stay. While it was a crappier hotel, I think we ended up actually paying more than they did. We had friends who stayed at the Horseshoe, but we stayed at Harrah's to try and save some money.
